All About Groups
What is a therapy group?Group Therapy is a powerful place to learn how to be in community. We often grow up learning ineffective ways of interacting where we don’t get our needs met and don’t know how to communicate what we want. Or maybe you feel anxious in groups and don’t even know what to say.
In therapy groups there is an active therapist, teaching and guiding the group to learn and practice new ways of interacting and understanding themselves. My groups are queer and trans friendly. |

Therapist Mom Training Group
The group will be a place to process and discuss issues related to where therapist and mother intersect in an attempt to better understand your identity and impulses. The group is a live and in person container to better understand how you perceive others in the group, get live interpersonal feedback, and learn what gets in the way of you connecting with others. This information in turn helps in understanding how you show up for clients. As a space for client consultation, I will guide us in exploring and discussing issues related to clients from a lens of transference and countertransference, specifically as evoked by our motherhood roles.
