ear Clients, Visitors, and Colleagues,
As of October 1, 2024, I have made the incredibly difficult decision to close my psychotherapy practice for the foreseeable future due to serious ongoing health challenges. While these conditions are not life-threatening, they have left me significantly disabled and unable to continue my clinical work.
This decision was made with deep reflection and immense sadness. I am profoundly grateful for the privilege of working with so many of you over the years.
A Note to Returning Clients
If you are visiting this page in hopes of reconnecting or resuming therapy, please know how meaningful that is to me — and how much I wish I could say yes. At this time, I am not able to return to practice, even in a limited capacity. I understand how disappointing and disruptive this may feel, and I carry that with you.
While I can't meet with you directly, I strongly encourage you to connect with another trusted provider for support.
🗂️ Records Requests
If you are a former client and need a copy of your records or superbills for insurance or continuity of care, you may email:
📧 [email protected]
🕓 Requests will be monitored and responded to on Fridays only.
📌 Legal & Ethical Information
Though I am no longer in active practice, the relationships built in therapy are enduring. You are not alone. I trust that the voice we cultivated together continues to live within you — steady, strong, and compassionate.
With warmth and gratitude,
Sarah Griesemer, Ph.D.
